As an ex professional decorator I was very surprised at the poor quality of this product as Ronseal have been a big name in the industry for many years. Used this brush to paint the deck oil on my new deck. Possibly the best brush I’ve ever used. Completed 30 metres of 6 foot high rough sawn fence, and it lost more than 5 bristles total no. Could easily do another 30 metres, which is more than can be said for my right arm.

How often should I seal my fence?
While you should always follow the manufacturer’s recommendations, the general rule is that wood fences should be stained every five years and sealers should be applied every two to three. Of course, if you are staining and sealing it makes sense to seal after staining and vice versa.
